This is a full-time, onsite position (40 hours per week) available immediately through May 27, 2026, and open to both local and travel candidates. About the Role
The Physical Therapist will serve K8 students across multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity. This role focuses on assessing physical development, implementing individualized therapy plans, and supporting students ability to participate safely and effectively in educational activities. The PT will work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive learning environments that promote student independence and success.
Qualifications and Requirements

Active Arizona Physical Therapy License

Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

Knowledge of IDEA and state/federal regulations for school-based services

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Ability to travel between assigned school sites within the district
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate students motor development and functional mobility skills

Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on student needs

Identify environmental barriers and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications

Provide therapy, consultation, and staff training as appropriate

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions

Supervise and guide supportive staff when necessary

Document and report student progress in compliance with district and state standards
